High-Purity OCC Copper Conductors

Impurities impede a signal's path. Ohno Continuous Casting is used to produce a single long, incredibly high-purity (99.9997%) copper crystal.

These monocrystal conductors are used in a multi-stranded layout, wrapped in individual low-loss microporous PTFE (Teflon™) insulators, and twisted to help lower electromagnetic interference. The four separate conductors are then wrapped in cotton, an additional layer paper, then wrapped in PVC and shrouded in an outer black cotton sleeve. The result of obsessive attention to detail, this combination of materials and assembly methods was only finalized after exhausting testing, and the Mavros has earned its place as one of Atlas' flagship cables.

Processing & Shipping Times

Atlas is distributed in the USA and Canada by VANA Ltd. We keep a small subset of standard lengths in stock in our New York warehouse. Online orders are processed within 2 business days. Orders than can be fully or partly fulfilled from our stock will usually ship within 3 business days. You can also inquire about inventory with your local Atlas Cables dealer. 

Custom orders and lengths that are not currently in stock will be made to order in Scotland and drop-shipped to your door. These typically ship within a week and arrive to their North American destination within 2 weeks.
